Where can you go for a bite to eat beforehand, see an art film, a documentary or a mainstream film and then have a decadent dessert while listening to folk music or jazz? The Little Theatre! Now this is not a fancy, new place...but a cozy, old-style theatre, which is really a group of small film rooms. A favorite place... More

This little Little theatre is a treasure. Showing everything (less X-rated) from current indie flicks to mainstream movies, in an environment evocative of 1950s-60s theaters, this lovely place is wonderful. More

The little has visiting film celebs in to speak as well as great films. Love their hand bills describing each film that you can read before you select a movie. We are never disappointed. More

Unfortunately, the Little is is need of a major overhaul. Depending which house you are visiting, you may be sitting in seats with loosely coiled springs and looking at overhead asbestos. The staff is always very pleasant and friendly. The theatre also tends to attract - and this has been my experience over the past ten years - the pretentious... More

The Little Theatre(s) is actually a five theater cineplex in Rochester's funky and fashionable East End. The Little also features a wonderful little cafe and an art gallery to boot. Live music is featured five nights/week with no charge and the ambiance of the total complex is magnificent sand hip. It is one of the best first, second, third and... More

This is a great, old time theatre that shows both first run and artsy films. They have a nice, little cafe, with music on the weekends. Parking lot is very small, better off parking on the side street. Theatres 1/2 are in the front and the rest are out back, can cut through a small alley to get there if... More

Movie selection is usually good. Theatres are not comfortable. Restaurant has inadequate ventilation; I leave smelling of the fryers. It's not a choice location. More
