Love to go during zoo brew. Its a great chance to walk around the zoo with out a million kids in your way. The live music and drinks make it a great time also! More

We last visited on a pretty cold day, but there were enough indoor exhibits to make the trip interesting. Staff are always helpful and eager to share. We had a great experience with the hyena. A staffer was feeding him a snack as she shared information about him and he played with her through the fance. Loved him! More

I was brought to the zoo by my grandfather as a young child, this zoo has old monuments from early 1900s. But this zoo is updated to 21st century standards, an interesting afternoon. Only issue is the food service could be more extensive and varied. More

I love this zoo. We travel from Syracuse to Rochester at least once or twice a year to go to this zoo. It has a nice little playground area with a bridge over a small creek. All 3 of my children love this little play area. They also have a nice variety of animals and parts of the zoo are... More

This zoo has come a long way. While there are not as many animals as the larger zoos are able to maintain, it does give ample space to those it maintains. The animals are also well cared for, which sometimes goes unrecognized. Taking a trip to the zoo is a nice afternoon activity, including a gentle walk. (For those with... More

Its a good zoo about to get better. We love the up-close view of the otters and polar bears. I can't wait for the new Elephant area to open. More

Loved it here. It was a snowy day in February that we went and there were very few people there, but that made it that much better. The animals were just amazing. Great place, will be going back for sure. More
