This is a must-see for any visitor to Rochester! The house isn't large, but the guided tours (which you must take - you cannot roam the house unaccompanied) takes about 45 minutes, because there is so much history to convey. The guide we had was excellent, and I am guessing that each guide has his or her particular favorite things... More

Guide was overzealous and there was little to see. We did learn some interesting facts about Susan B. Anthony. They also have Scout programs. More

I grew up in Rochester and had never been to this museum. Now I'm telling everyone about it. I took my 13 yr old daughter and she loved it as well. WE had a great tour guide who was incredibly knowledgable. Great to learn more about Susan B. Anthony's life...her dedication of over 50 yrs to trying to get women... More

An excellent, quick stop to learn about Susan B. Anthony and the history of the women's movement in the U.S. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. We took the tour of the house she lived in, and viewed a room with information about her life. More

A must-see for people interested in civil rights in the US. Walkable from downtown, though you have to go through a bit of a rough neighborhood (seems safe enough in day though!) More

The house is a piece of history-yes in Rochester. I enjoyed the feel of this place-knowing it's still standing. A fun day trip. More

There are so few historical sites in our country that celebrate the wonderful contributions of women. The Susan B. Anthony House is a gem. The house is wonderfully restored and the exhibits are very well done. The tour guides make Ms. Anthony's life and times come alive. More

I loved walking alone with the tour guide and hearing about an important part of history, particularly meaningful for me as a woman. I had little knowledge about Susan B. Anthony and left with concrete ideas about her as a person and a lot of respect. She is such a pride of Rochester! More
