GEVA is a long-standing ROC institution and they have consistently provided vary good theater in ROC for a lot less money than big city venues. More

There is not a bad seat at Geva. The sets and actors are usually very good. Once in a while I don't like the selection, but I'm sure that's almost anywhere. a lot of times there is a "prolog" before the production, which I enjoy very much. Good live theater. More

There are two theatres in the one complex, a mainstage and a smaller "Nextstage". Both are proscenium style theatres. They produce a varied season. Production value is high. Really no bad seats in either venue. More

Have seen many plays at the Geva and it's always a quality performance. You can't get a bad seat. Ushers are friendly and helpful. Good value for the money. More

Made a spontaneous weekend trip to Rochester and saw a production ("Superior Donuts") at the Geva. Fine play and production all around. The theater has a nice feel-doesn't look like there's a bad seat in the house. A nice touch is a cafe/bar adjacent to the lobby. My friend and I felt lucky to happen upon this place. More

We have a subscription for GEVA and consider this a date night. We usually have a light dinner in the cafe before the prologue, which is always entertaining and a good discussion about the play. The plays this season have been great fun! More

I had the pleasure of seeing a performance of A Raisin In the Sun at Geva recently. The theater is small and there isnt a bad seat in the house. Everything is top notch -productions, ligthing sets. Wonderful theater! More

Had a good time at the play we went to see. I am just starting to explore the "off the beaten path" theaters. This one is nice and well maintained. More
