I like to visit the homes of people from history and the George Eastman House delivered. Take the tour - it is worth the time to hear about his fascinating life and his eccentricities. I stayed for the garden tour - it was a little early in the season so I can only imagine how gorgeous it is once it... More

Definitely worth doing, held the attention of three 20 somethings and three 60s somethings in town for graduation. Same complaint as museums everywhere but Washington DC: they all cost too much to enter! making it... More

This is a well-maintained museum and the Eastman House is an added bonus with the elephant in the solarium! Great for those interested in the history of the camera and Eastman's part in that history.

We learned lots about both Eastman and the history of pocket cameras. Amazing period details in the Eastman mansion. Interesting exhibit of pocket cameras.

this is rich in rochester history, and all over the mansion there are photos and connections to days gone by and distinguished guests of political and historical note. architecturally very cool.
