What a wonderful museum which takes you back into time and the invention and evolution of cameras. The main house is spectacular and worth seeing

This is a well-maintained museum and the Eastman House is an added bonus with the elephant in the solarium! Great for those interested in the history of the camera and Eastman's part in that history.
We learned lots about both Eastman and the history of pocket cameras. Amazing period details in the Eastman mansion. Interesting exhibit of pocket cameras.
Sure, we all know about Kodak is struggling to survive. However, if you're into photography and want to learn more about George Eastman you've got to come here!
Fantastic!!!! Great for history buffs!! George was quite an interesting person. I liked that you could go on a self guided tour using your cell phone. Very unique.
this is rich in rochester history, and all over the mansion there are photos and connections to days gone by and distinguished guests of political and historical note. architecturally very cool.
