The park is just beautiful with all the lilac trees and other out of the ordinary trees. They have a beautiful display of all different colors of pansies. There were a lot of vendors in the Arts & Crafts show, music playing and plants to buy. It was a beautiful day.

Just attended the Lilac Festival at Highland Park. The park itself is gorgeous, nice displays of flora, well maintained paved trails to walk through the park. I definitely recommend spending a half day here and just walking around and relaxing while enjoying the views. If you come during the Lilac festival, the lilacs are abundant and aromatic.

What a wonderful experience this year. The lilac's are the best they have been in 25 years according to the news. Quite crowded for a Thursday night, which I don't like and I can do without all the vendors. I just want to enjoy and appreciate the sights and smells of being surrounded by blooming lilac bushes.

During the Lilac Festival this place is buzzing with activity and beauty. But anytime during the spring and summer there is plenty to see and enjoy. Paved trails to hike and quiet settings. We should be very proud to have this one-of-a kind place here in Rochester
