Safari Fumba starts in Fumba about a half hour drive south of Stonetown. Definitely bring water shoes to walk out to the boats at low tide. Also apply lots of sun tan lotion, particularly if you are coming from the winter weather of the US East coast. The Safari Blue staff really made the trip fun, especially the large guy... More

As the title says this was absolutely fantastic! I am not a strong swimmer and so phoned and spoke to Eleanor to make sure that the tour would be suitable. She was very reassuring and even said that if I needed it one of the crew would hold my hand. Eleanor even arranged free transport for me to get to... More

Safari Blue is pure magic -- the entire day felt like a brilliant blue poem unfolding in verse after verse of impeccable beauty and ease. It's the kind of day torn out of time, leaving you feeling alert, alive, relaxed, and amazed by the shimmering world around you. Starting in Fumba, we took a barefooted walk through the sea at... This is a must. We were taken from a beach and then on a boat to a snorkelling area. We saw dolphins on the way. Although I did not snorkell my friends said it was amazing with fantastic views of fish. We were then taken to a sand bank which was amazing with great views of Zanzibar and lovely sandy... More

We were 3 couples traveling together. One of our group was not a swimmer, so wore a life preserver to keep afloat. She was still having some trouble so one of the guides held her hand and gave her a guided snorkeling tour. The reef in this area is not very colorful, but we saw some beautiful fish and had... More

Lunch was good, we saw a few dolphins. for the rest you will like it only if you are happy to be with 20 plus people on your boat and close to 100 at lunch time and... More

I lived in Zanzibar for two years, and Safari Blue was consistently the best day out with visiting friends or family - and a lot of money goes back into the local communities. More
