The cruise is nice but the big attraction is going through the locks and seeing how transportation was accomplished over a century ago. One tip---Make reservations as tour buses often fill up the boat and try to get the 3:00 trip as this one seems to be less likely to have a boatload of seniors on it. More

A two - hour trip through two locks on the canal and then back again. Informative and scenic. The captain was entertianing in his narative. We enjoyed the ride and thought it worth the visit. More

Rated 2.5 This cruise was very informative as to how the Erie Canal worked in the 1800's but took to long. It would be better if it took 45 minutes or an hour. Price for the cruise was a fair price. Let the wife shop while you take the cruise and both will have a good time. More
