The main level of this home may strike you as the previous reviewer mentioned, "A Typical Historic Home" with lots of period artifacts abounding throughout.
However, if you are a parent of young children, you will immediately realize this is NOT just a stuffy ol' hands-off historic home. There are actually a variety of hands-on activities to be found throughout...

Tour the home next door to the Jell-o Gallery. Guide was very engaging. Interesting 1930's kitchen.
