Not a lot of information in the displays. They seem to be more interested in selling giftys and books. We went at the end of our Finger Lakes visit. It may have been more informative if we had stopped at the start of our trip.

The wine center hosted a party after the Fingerlakes Dragon Boat Festival. The staff were welcoming and the center is interesting, with information all around about the local area, maps, and grapes/wine of the region. It's always fun, expecially in a group, to visit the Finger Lakes Wine Center.
The facility is gorgeous and the wine is great. Unfortunately the service is horrific! I hosted my wedding rehearsal dinner there and it was a disaster. The wine center is really cool because it's one of a kind and it showcases wines from many of our finger lakes wineries. Its beautiful inside with cozy seating. They have great handmade gifts and treasures. I can see this place being AWESOME within a few years. The only negative, it will cost you more to taste or drink here....

I visit the Wine Center regularly -- especially if I have out of town guests. Tasting at the Center is a great way to showcase many of the unusual wines of the Fingerlakes.
