Unfortunately the Gorge Trail was closed so the only options were the Rim Trails - the views from these were only OK compared to the other State Parks in the area. The trails are well maintained and there is lots of parking, plus some nice areas with picnic tables. Definitely worth a visit. More

We went to early in the season to check out the gorge trail, but the gorge itself is nice and even taking "the long way around" it was a great day. Very challenging if you do the upper trek. More

There are lovely trails that run along the waterways, which include beautiful waterfalls. The hiking is a little hilly, but perfectly "doable" even if one is not in peak condition. The trails are well kept and the woodland is lovely. There is a nice place to swim and picnic. More

The gorge trail hike though Robert Treman State Park is lovely with some parts through the woods and some along the stream. The swimming area is very beautiful and natural. I've never stayed in the cabins, but they look very alluring, though rustic. More

We have been to this state park a lot over the years. It is one of my kids' favorite swimming spots. Sometimes it does get crowded, as with anyplace with swimming in the summer but we enjoy it. Do yourself a favor, and hit the trails! This area is so beautiful. More
