A nice surprise. Quite an extensive museum on Curtis's role in aviation along. Very interesting. It takes a 1 - 2 hours to see it thoroughly.

I was hesitant to "waste" time here but it was worth it. Lots of cool old things to look at. We stayed about two hours but you could virtually here here for a while if you wanted to analyze everything. Big collection of old planes, motorcycles, etc. For $8 it was worth stoppping!
We have lived in the general area since 1995, but had never visited this place until this year! What a surprising find. If you are interested in aviation, motorcycles, old boats, toys, etc. This is the place to go!
Grandchildren love it too. We go there every 2-3 months with friends and family. The displays are well presented and there is a wide variety of "memorabilia to see". It is comfortable to roam around the spend as little or as much time as you want.
I loved the motorcycle exhibit. I've always been a fan of Glenn Curtiss, and this was a great experience. I learned so much I didn't already know, and that's a novel experience for me. My favorite part was the "World's Fastest Man" exhibit. I've always had a thing for old motorcycles. Definitely recommend.
The Glen Curtis Museum has many displays showing the history and life of Glen Curtis's accomplishments in flying boat design and flight. There are also displays about his motorcycle background I found very interesting.
A place to learn about a man, his inventions, flight, motorcycles, etc. A trip into their workshop can be a special treat. Replicas being made, old planes being restored. A cordial and knowledgeable staff. Easy access with wineries and restaurants near by.
I have a thing for flying-boats, so this was my treat - but the rest of the family enjoyed it as well, even if they were kept quiet by promises of a seafood supper at the Pelican's Net just down the road.
This is a museum which has clearly been put together and maintained by enthusiasts for a man worth...
