I have been to SOH many times. Sometimes stupid people cause issues but the staff there deals with them quickly and efficiently. Great acoustics and a beautiful venue make for many great shows. The cabaret is quaint and the staff is funny..

The SOH and the Geneva police should BAN alcohol from the rock concerts. People rowdy and crazy and drunk. They were disgusting when we wanted to enjoy George Thorogood's show. People standing in front of us, drunk, acting stupid! Shame on the SOH and the police for promoting drinking and driving too. Then we were told no pictures while Everyone...

While it is a lovely historic place, the worst thing they could have ever done was started holding rock & roll type shows there. I am in a Rock/Country band myself, and grew up in the 60's, but crowds for these types of shows cannot be controlled, and should not be put in a facility such as the SOH. We...

With my sister visiting from Wisconsin, I wanted to treat her to some of the culture in the Geneva area. After a delicious meal at the Leaf Kitchen we walked to the Smith Opera House. The physical space of the building is well-preserved & stepping inside is like stepping back into the golden age of vaudeville/opera houses. The Molly Ives...

Historic and wonderful accoustics. There is also a nice variety of shows. We have enjoyed music, plays and community presentations.
I attended a showing of "The world's fastest Indian" there last year and although I'd seen the outside of the building for the past 25yrs or so, I'd never been in it before this occasion. Just a very interesting place for any type of show.
I have attended numerous events at The Smith and always enjoyed myself. The building is beautiful and the events have been wonderful. I enjoy independent films and live performances. Vickie Lawrence was fantastic. I came with a group of about 12 people and we all loved it. My only complaint is that they don't do it enough.
We love that this stately theater has been renovated and is alive with performances and big-screen showings. It's like stepping back in time with modern conveniences. Notice the twinkling stars on the ceiling if you have the good fortune to attend an event!
Came here with 3 friends and had a ball watching Vicki Lawrence. The seats were comfortable the acoustics were great. Need to improve upstairs bathroom
I haven't seen any amazing shows but got some great stuff for kids and I would recommend at least a visit if you in the area
