This is a great hands on children's museum located in a very historic park. If you live locally, consider doing what our family did. Pay admission then visit the museum. If you enjoy it you can upgrade to a family membership at the end of your visit. They will even credit you for the 10.00 parking. On future visits you... More

The Hall of Science is geared for children 14yrs and younger or for those young at heart. There are lots of hands-on exhibits with lights, mirrors, wind, weather, sound, optical illusions and an area for sports. In addition, for an extra fee, there is mini-golf and a playground. We all enjoyed walking through the hall of mirrors and trying to... More

Everything was interactive. The less technology the exhibit used, the better, as the low-tech exhibits didn't attract the kids, ages 5, 7. The optics/light/sound area was a fave because effects of the exhibits were tangible and easily understood. The animation exhibition was repetitive and boring. The sports exhibit was great. Definitely pay for the playground (husband loved it), and enjoy... More

Bring your bacterial wipes and strap in for a boring couple of hours. Hands on exhibits don't teach much or create much excitement. More

An impressive sized science center, it is a combo museum, learning center, interactive educational experience. Easy to get to by train, parking for cars, it has enough activities to get lost in. Your kids will learn and will want to return. Save some energy, though, Flushing Meadow Park is right there and you can let them run around and then... More

This is a fantastic museum for children and young adults. Not the most convenient for public transportation, but if you have a car and are looking for a place to take some young folks, this is a lot of fun. More

I celebrated my daughter's 8th Bday at the NY Hall of Science with a party- tour- and time for the kids to play and explore. The kids and the adults enjoyed themselves. Highly recommend visiting this spot. I need to go back myself. More
