This is the park that was close to home. THere are bicycle paths, bay beach, a decent swimming pool, playgrounds and fields, and plentiful picnic grounds. Deer, fox and hawks are often sited here. DO NOT FEED THE DEER! love this park, maintenance could be improved.

large park with a beach on the bay, alot of city buses and city people. gets very crowded. I wouldnt judge any of long island beach by this place. visit the shoe shore beaches, jone beach robert moses and fire island.take ferries from bayshore or sayvilleto fire island.

large park, plenty of playgrounds for kids as well as baseball diamonds, and open areas for soccer, bike riding, walking etc. Clean bathrooms, and plenty of them. Seniors free during weekdays

Walk here quite often and always enjoys it. Park really not used by many-always deserted. Still a wonderfully relaxing environment and huge in size.
