Must try the food here the frites and mussels were amazing! Yes it is small and there is limited bathroom space but seriously if you overlook that you will enjoy it. Cannot beat a 6 beer tasting for $3 and you keep the glass! Super friendly staff and the place itself is clean and on a beautiful property. More

We got there after they had actually closed but they gave us free samples anyway. They didn't rush us out and were very nice. Oh yeah and the beer is good to boot! More

Our tour on Saturday, May 5, was very lackluster. The guide seemed interested in finishing the tour as quickly as possible, did not provide informative answers to several questions, and was disappointing overall. The facility and the various products are interesting and a good deal at $3. The restaurant staff and food was very good. Overall, we were disappointed, though. More

Short, free brewery tour; $3 generous tasting; awesome fries in the cafe - true Belgian style, double-fried served with mayo. We arrived for the first tour on Friday of Memorial Day weekend and it was not crowded. But the shop and tasting room are small, so on a busy day I can imagine it packed. The staff are very laid... Ommegang rests at the bottom of a small, green mountain and is right out of an Alpine village. The brewery boasts some wonderful ales. Worth the visit! More

We went to Cooperstown for a long weekend with the visit to Ommegang the primary reason for going. I was not disappointed. The tour was brief but informative. The $3 for the tasting was a great deal as you got to try their standard six with munchies in between. Although there isn't a bad beer in the bunch, throwing the... More

My tasting at the brewery was one of the highlights of my last visit to Cooperstown. Beer is yummy, staff are friendly, and there are snacks between tastings. More

My 10-year-old son and I went to the Brewery Ommegang during the week between Christmas when we were visiting Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame. It turned out to be a delightful find, especially for its excellent restaurant. Initially we had thought about going just for the tour and beer tasting -- my reward for my son having spent... More

Off the beaten track this brewery gives tours and for $3.00 a person you can become educated on their six beers brewed here. Starting with the lightest to darkest, you will have an excellent docet explain the spices used in this well crafted European beer. The bar/pub serves good food too. Take care with the beer, the alcohol content catches... More

We visited the brewery, and went on the tour, did the tasting, and then had lunch. The tour is free, and is about 20-30 minutes. Once the tour was done, I was even more happy that it was free - there is nothing special about it. They take you into the factory, and give you some information about how the... More
