A gorgeous location for picnics, hiking, and history. There is a beach with swimming facilties and picnic areas all around. You can have as much or as little privacy as you desire. There is also a 19th century mansion on the grounds that can be toured for a small extra fee. Very highly recommended. More

I camped at Glimmerglass for one week recently with hubby and kids (9,12) this is a great campground. Beautiful sites, plenty of water spigots and clean (although somewhat crowded) bathhouse.
