What can I say about this place that hasnt already been said.It is simply a must see destination if you are a baseball fan.I keep coming back, about seven times I think and it never gets old or loses its charm.Also helps that the village of cooperstown is simply beautiful! The town of Cooperstown is beautfiul with great Victorian houses and shoppes. The town is situated on Lake Otsego. This town is all about baseball. Most shoppes cater to some form of baseball. This is a shrine as much as it is a museum. The highlight is at the end when you return to the first floor and enter the actual Hall containing the plaques of each inductee arranged by year. Took my son and daughter for another trip to this great museum. Had not been here in almost five years. My daughter who does not care for sports had a good time. Don't be put off by the admission price. This is the mecca for baseball fans. We live about an hour away, so our members and usually visit 2 times year.
