Visiting NY for the first time I was delighted to discover the Yankees were playing at home when we were there. I booked tickets before we left (I really didn't need to as the stadium wasn't full). Being a baseball novice, but a keen supporter of AFL football and cricket back home, I was surprised at the behavior of the... More

Majestic and flamboyant..."The House that Steinbrenner Built" is an awesome cathedral in a not-so-great Bronx Area, but it's Ok...The energy in the game here is unique as it is every single detail from Monumental Park to napkins with the Yankees logo...This is the Mecca of baseball, period...Come at least once in your lifetime!!

Visited to watch the Yankees play the Astros recently. First baseball game ever. Stadium is very nice, clean and plenty of food/drink options in all areas. Access was easy on the subway from Grand Central. Recommended.

This new stadium is big. It is not necessary to book a stadium tour unless you want to visit some VIP rooms, but they open approx 1-2h prior to the game so you will have enough time to walk accross the stadium. Get some drinks and eat, that where this is al about !! Do not get tickets far above,... More

The stadium is used for so many events like the NYU commencement ceremonies and baseball games. Nice place to enjoy a show.

Very easy to get to from Manhattan. It is right off the subway. A large food selection. Tight secruity. Yankee museum is a hidden gem.

This has been on our bucket list for a while, so when deciding to go to NYC, first thing we did was to see if there was a game, and there was!! We rode the subway from our downtown hotel, and that's an easy way to go. Passengers on the subway are very helpful in telling you which train to... More

We were staying in New York from the UK. Neither of us had been to a baseball game before so when we found out that the NY Yankees were playing at home then we thought we would give it a go. The stadium is easy to get to from manhattan on the subway with the Yankees subway station right outside... More

The new Yankee Stadium was on my list of ballparks to visit, so I ventured over there in April 2013. Despite being a very large stadium, Yankee Stadium has excellent sightlines from most seating areas. The hike up to the top levels takes quite a while, so be prepared if you are in the 300 level or higher. I was... More
