Shopping is not our main purpose of our travel. So, we didn't spend too much time at the stores at Plaza. We did enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere with ice cream at Plaza. It was quiet evening during the weekdays. More

So I loved the historic atmosphere and the ecelectic crowd that always gathers in places like this but I can't say much for the actual shopping. Great area if you are the artsy type. Since we aren't really I found the shopping offerings to be mostly tourist junk and overpriced specialty store goods (cooking sewing etc) that you can find... More

Parking off the plaza and walking a couple blocks was our choice and we were glad we did. Lots of traffic. Pricey and touristy. OK for a one time visit, but not... More

Best place to shop for souvenirs. Surprisingly, the prices were the same as Santa Fe and Albuquerque. More

My wife and I drove around the plaza while we were in Taos. It was small and a little crowded. After visiting the plaza in Santa Fe we were underwhelmed and decided to move on to the next stop. More

Quaint area, in the center of Taos with little boutiques, fairly priced, and also souvi. shops and galleries. I found a sombrero for $5.99 versus $10 in Santa Fe. Most items I found were inexpensive, including clothing. this brings a whole new meaning to NOT buying things in Santa Fe. I found a type of scarf I wanted in Santa... More
