Loved using this as a back-up running path. The roads in Taos are too narrow to accommodate runners so I opted for the park with its historic cemetery. Enjoyed watching the father teach his children how to ride bikes while I ran past.

This park is large, clean and has fairly good parking. A lot of events are held here it seems and a well lighted family park.

Having spent many days at this historic location, I find it hard to describe. Lasting memories include a concert by Paul Horn, his flute and the song of the whales left a lasting memory. With no conserts the Kit Carson Park is amust see!

When we first went to the park, we did not see the graves. After visiting the Kit Carson home, we were given walking... More

Got to see where KIt Carson once lived. Awesome narrator. No fee. NO tip. Just watch the wildlife going in and coming out. Deer and pronghorn, turkey are everywhere.

I went to Taos for the Wool Festival which was held in Kit Carson Park. It was a great place for this event and I had a wonderful time.

I felt we were stepping back in time to visit the gravesites of the history makers laid to rest here. It is not huge so a half hour is about all that is needed. It is free -- just walk in and explore.
