My son and I did our open water scuba certification here. Pictures do not do it justice. The circumference is rather small at 60 feet across, but locals seemed to enjoy hopping off the low hanging rocks/cliffs and just having some good ol' fashioned water fun. Many scuba resorts train here, too. There are platforms for entry and training. Glad... More

Wish the weather had been warmer for a swim but this is a very cool place to visit. Not much surrounding it but cool to look into the water. Watched some scuba divers go down, amazing. Watch for broken glass around perimeter. More

The signage to this attraction is poor so it took us three goes to find the place. The surrounding are a bit run down but the Blue Hole itself is great . Over 80 feet deep and spilling 3000 gallons of crystal clear water every minute. More

I spent Easter Weekend here doing some training with my local scuba shop. I live in Dallas, so drove about 10 hours to get there, and was skeptical when I first saw it. But, once you dive down, it's a pretty cool site. The water is very clear, as long as people stay off the bottom. But even once they... More

The diving was great, but the heated building, with showers and bathrooms was wonderful! We could get out of the wind and warm up between dives. Not sure when it is open, so you may want to call to check. Indoor picnic tables were nice for passing time between dives and having lunch. Must let the hot water run in... More

We were on our way through Santa Rosa and noticed signs for the Blue Hole. This was a weekday evening in May, so there was no one around except for a car full of vocal *ahem* local teens driving around the parking lot yelling obscenities. After they left, we stayed for about an hour, walking around the hole, dipping our... More

Blue Hole is a very deep lake with a rather small circumfrence. People travel there from miles around just to play in the summer waters as well as practice scuba diving. If one is not planning on either of those activities, it is fun to look at for a few minutes. More

The locals try to keep this site clean, but the parking lot is worn out and while it is publicized as a 'must see' we were not impressed. There is a diving school on the site that operates year round for those interested in getting certified. More

Ever wanted to cliff dive, but were afraid? Well you can do a mini "cliff dive" at the Blue Hole. Also a great photo op! More
