I visited the Plaza on Cinco de Mayo; it was really nice watching the dance groups, such as Las Perlitas de Pueblo and Mariachis. Also Josefina's Jazzbrunch is a nice venue. The Mexican food is plenty and good at many places in Old Mesilla. More

Many nice little shops catering to tourists. A bit pricey but we found some nice items to purchase. Clean area, friendly shopkeepers. Several nice restaurants in the area. More

We really enjoyed walking through Old Mesilla Village. It was a step back in time. Visitor information was very helpful with some of the history of Billy the Kid and other info about the White Sands Monument...such a worthwhile visit. More

There is a surprising amount of history packed into this small plaza. Make sure to read the placques! There were musicians performing traditional music when we were there. We recommend the bookstore that is packed with books on New Mexico, nature and some of the best greeting cards (very unique) that we have seen. There are also some excellent places... More
