If you love history, you will love this museum. See clothes worn by the Revolutionary soldiers. SEE A REAL LOCK OF GEORGE WASHINGTON'S HAIR (it's reddish). The place smells wonderfully of old wood. The guide tells the story of the Battle of Trenton so well that you practically can relive it. More

I've visited the Old Barracks Museum 3x and have learned something new each time. And the education has been painless! Costumed interpreters guide you through and do a wonderful job and bringing history to life. Good for all ages. More

The Old Barracks is a living history of the Revolutionary War's Battle of Trenton. Follow in the foosteps of George Washington and the Continental Army after they crossed the Delaware on that cold Christmas night in 1176 More

We arrived on a Sunday morning and were the only people touring the Barracks. Parking on a Sunday morning was a breeze - there is a lot right at the gate and we had it almost to ourselve. We received a personalized tour by a costumed interpreter and then were taken to an infirmary room where we had a nice... More

The guide was soo entertaining and the information was very interesting. Had our 11 and 8 year-old children and the length was just right. We found this to be more than we expected. More

I am a history buff and enjoyed the museum very much. Admission is $6.00 and well worth it. It has something for everyone. In the hour I visited I learned about the French and Indian Wars, Washington Crossing the Delaware, The Battles of Trenton and Princeton, Soldier life, Medicine of the era, and other aspects of 18th century America. They... More
