the ocean count jersey shore area holds two beaches sea side and point pleasnt as the main two beaches. i thinkpoint pleasant is the better of the two for a family. but if you wan to party then go to sea side. More

Clean, family oriented, wide beach. Very pleasant (guess that's why it's called Point Pleasant). Nice boardwalk with rides for kids, food, bars, everything for a nice day. More

Used to love to come here. It was a great family beach but now it seems to have picked up the fringe of the " Jersey Shore" crowd. Not as clean as it used to be and way way too crowded. More

It is a great place for young people. Our daughters used to go there a lot when they were younger. I think it gets a little crowded with college students in the summer, so we avoid going there. More

the bathrooms are clean and close, they have free outdoor rinse offs (shower, but its not private- its on the beach) food right at hand, they bring in palm trees to make it fun.... plenty to do to keep everyone happy More

Lovely beach with a typical Jersey Shore boardwalk. Great for families but not the best for couples. More

Every thing was way over priced for the experience. The aquarium was under construction and had little to offer. It is your typical games and amusements you find at any carnival. Beach is nice but there are other beaches that are just as nice. More

Remnants of private ownership and control of oceanfront continue to do a very fine business here. If you like fast food, casual dining and arcades juxtaposed against a nice fee-based beach, you can have fun here. There are bars for socializing with wonderful ocean-views. It is safe for children and families here too with games and food along the boardwalk.... More
