Smelly? Seriously dude? You have to love this place for what it is - local and tiny. Staff is usually really nice. Be realistic - you gotta go the first two hours of the morning or on a week night. It's usually near empty. Otherwise the place is mobbed...duhhh. The ski instructors are mostly teens or semi-retired people who are... More

We went there as a group of about 7 families with several young children (1 yr - 15 yr olds) for Snow Tubing on Sunday of president's day weekend. Since it hasn't snowed at all this season, we were not sure if this was such a good idea but we knew that kids will have fun as a group regardless.... More

We have gone here once a year with the kids. They have taken lessons, gone out on their own and gone snow tubing. The best part about this place is that it's easy to get to from Bergen, Rockland and other local counties. You can go for the afternoon. Also, they offer discounts to Bergen residents. More

Staff is rude and the cabin is smelly. The guys that push you down the tubing slide are crude and obnoxious. More

Do not go. Period. Because of the location there are long lines to get everywhere, very poorly maintained and dingy. More

Didn't think there'd be enough of a challenge here or a long enough distance to hike. If you put together right combo of loops, you can average at least 8 - 9 miles as we did. Some really good, steep ascents. Nice views atop Campgaw Mtn. where ski lift is as well as other overlooks. Rt. 287 noise heard at the... More

This year Campgaw started out really good but then it fell apart. Its terrain park was amazing because there was a great terrain park manager. They had great features and changed things up daily. I really felt like i learned more then last year because last winter they were still progressing to the point they were at now. It was... More
