Growing up in Hunterdon County, it's always nice to "go home". Spruce Run offers a beautiful beach, great fishing, and mostly flat shady campsites. Go in the off-season when the campground is not full. More

This place was amazing in the 80's, but when we went back there once in the last 8 years, it was totally ruined! Filthy, absolutely gross. A beautiful destination was ruined with garbage and crap all over the beach. It was such a huge disapointment. More

Ride bikes, play at the playgrounds, picnic and fish. Great little spot that does not get very crowded and is close to most locations in central jersey. More
