It's a great place because to start, there is ample parking, lots of things to see, it's clean, and the lighthouse is wonderful. The bird santuary is nice and the people are well informed. A stroll along the waterway even identifies the trees. The museum is filled with a lot of interesting facts about the area. More

We love this park, the trails are great for riding, you even get to ride through the barracks etc. We love the beach and the pier for fishing is great! Huge park and relatively inexpensive for a day with the family! More

If you love the outdoors it is a great spot. Even amateur bird watchers can enjoy all there is to look at, the beach is gorgeous, and the lighthouse is a good one. Worth the trip for sure. More

We used to live in South Jersey so we have been there many times. It is a great place to take the kids to explore and also to search for Cape May "diamonds". More

I have been regularly visiting the Cape May Point Park since the early 70's. It continues to be a favorite place to spend some quality time.. The lighthouse is stately, well maintained and although the admission charge to climb to the top, $7 is a bit much the views from the top are marvelous.. If you're a bird watcher a... More

A great park for nature enthusiasts! Slather on the sunscreen and Deet bug repellant, bring camera, binoculars and water and you're set! We no sooner arrived and saw a bald eagle flying above and saw a Great Egret sitting in the trees, which is something I'd never seen before. We took one of the trails (not sure which one it... More

This year, my 11 year old nephew became a "seasoned" fisherman along side veterans of this quiet spot to enjoy the solitude of the morning surf crashing against the jetties. We stayed on the beach, as the jetties were slick and dangerous to walk on unless you had proper footwear. We had plenty of room to cast and my nephew... More

We 'discovered" this park when we were visiting the lighthouse last weekend. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the parking was free and that you did not have to pay to get on the beach. The beach itself is very wide. This is truely one of Cape May's hidden gems. More

Recently at on our trip to Cape May we stopped at the Cape May light house. Before we went there we where looking for a good spot to hang out at the beach with the kids. We discovered that you have to pay on most beaches. Not the case here. Because it’s a state park you don’t have to pay.... More
