This is on my "to be missed" list while in Portsmouth. It's like any other water park . . . noisy, crowded and not worth the time and money. Why go to a water park when you can be at some of the coasts most stunning beaches in minutes? Don't even bother. More

Went with my 9 year old back in July; the place fills up fast so get there early to avoid long lines at the most popular slides.I. paid extra for a private tent overlooking the wave pool, its a good value but people may still try to steal your rented tube. So much for security! More

Rides are good and so are facilities, and clean. If you don't mind swimming in pools with the general public this is one of the better water parks we've been to. Watch out for massive crowds and lines on hot days. Try to get there when park opens. Can bring your own lunch or buy, plenty of Kiosks to get... More

Great waterpark. You can even bring your own cooler for food and soda which is nice. (Hopefully that cooler option doesn't change). More

This used to be a great family water park, but after it was sold to a large company who owns several other water parks, it really went down hill. They lowered the admission price which attracted some pretty questionable people. The place feels very dirty (maybe because of the clientele?) and the staff are no longer friendly or fun. I... More

I went to water country this past summer and it was great! All of the rides were very fun but song had some really long lines. For example, the Dragon one, we waited in line for 30-45 minutes. But all in all, it was a great time and we had so fun! I'll never forget that experience! More

We were very excited to visit this waterpark but changed our minds fairly quickly once we arrived. The park was extremely crowded - so much that it seemed that they allowed too many people to enter the park. The wave pool had so many people in it that when it was running, you were getting rammed by other people which... More

I do really look forward to my annual trip to Water Country. The wave pool is the big draw for me; also the lazy river. The slides are fun, too, but as others have mentioned the waits can be long - and there's no wait for the wave pool. Problems includes crowds - what can you do, it's popular, and... More
