I have been hiking here for over 40 years. It is a nice easy stroll with many trails. The Audubon Society manages a part of it ... also the ruins of a once vibraint house of ill repute is tucked in there .

Be it fishing, walking the trails with family or the dog, biking or just having a picnic, make this a stop.

This place is very peaceful. We like to bike and kayak here. It is the reservoir so there is no swimming though. It is always nice and quite. It is also a great place to just go sit at a picnic table and just relax while looking at the water.

Good place for photos (esp sunrise and sunset; you'll see professional photographers here; lighting is great). We go here to walk the dog (and the kids). Good trails and decent picnic spot.

No swimming is allowed here, though boats of all sizes (kayaks, sailboats, etc.) are encouraged, and there are a huge number of trails around the lake that is split in half by Route 28. Anywhere is beautiful, and we have been to many of the different trails multiple times. We highly recommend the main parking area right off the Massabesic... More

Lake Massabesic is by far one of my favorite places to visit! Miles and miles of beautiful walking trails. This place is a family place, solo place and a romantic place for couples. Any day you go there you will pass people walking their dogs, cyclists, joggers and even horseback riders. The lake is Manchester's water supply so there is... More

This park is a hidden jewel. As stated by others, there is no swimming just sun, shade, breezes, trails, birds, fish, sailboats, rowboats and people reading or walking or running or rowing. The people who choose this waterfront park are the type of people who say "good morning, have a nice walk". They are not like the majority of beach... More
