I love mount Washington and its a great place to visit. I have been several times and try to go every year. Fun to drive up the auto road, its just a great overall adventure, Great view, AWESOME Photo opportunity and just a wonderful place to visit. Definitely worth the trip. More

We went in mid-May, and the road was only open to just above tree-line. We drove ourselves, and the CD guide was very interesting. Luckily, it was a clear day and we had great views when we stopped at the highest point we were allowed to drive. There are also some great places to get out and see the woods. More

If you plan a trip by motorcycle to the White Mountains, you should make time to go up the Mount Washington Auto Road. The views are spectacular and it's a trip you won't forget! More

Closed because of weather. However, we were met at the barrier by an extremely polite warden, who explained the problems, and made it clear that we'd be wasting our time to try going up. Disappointing not to be able to go up, but good to know why. More
