Cannon can be the Best mountain experience in the East if you hit it at the right time. Conditions change rapidly here, so beware. Mostly harder terrain, but enough Blues/ Greens to get the rookies down too. 2 Massive Trams get you up to the peak. Tree runs are Sweet when they're open. When the weather is right, ya can't... I was impressed with Cannon. i grew up skiing in CO and I've never skied on the East Coast, but the mountain had decent quality snow in some spots. I'd heard a lot about ice on the east coast, which there was in spots, but all in all it was good quality skiing. More

Our first ski trip to New Hampshire. No complaints, but nothing that really sets it apart either. More

My wife and I just returned from a ski trip to New Hampshire. She is an intermediate skiier and we spent a couple of days at Bretton Woods, which suited us well. We tried Cannon mountain and found it very challenging. As an expert skiier, I could handle the runs but was disappointed by the lack of variety. There were... More

I've skied here all my life, and although the amenities have improved tremendously it has the deserved reputation of being a true skier's mountain--no frills, but everything you need including great steeps from top to bottom. And, with the addition of the Tuckerbrook lift and trail system, there's plenty of gentle terrain for beginners too. More

I vacation in the White Mountains in the summer, and I love to visit Cannon Mountain. The tram ride to the top is a delight and the hiking paths at the summit provide for great viewing of the mountians. Cannon Mountain in the summer is a delight. More

Every year I try to take roadtrips to different mountains, and go snowboarding.I had been anticipating Cannon Mtn for a few years, and finally had my trip all set. President's Day weekend(Sunday) I had gone with a friend, and was amazed on how awful the conditions were. It seemed like it hadn't been groomed in days, and the Ice was... More

we have 4 children and Cannon's snowboard program was the best! Our kids were in the full day program for 2 days. They have a private hill with lift just for beginners. The instructors were great. The supervisor always knew where are kids were at all times and who they were with. They would radio them for us and tell... More

I was surprised how good the skiing was with the lack of natural snow. All the snow making trails were open which gave a very good verity of trails to ski. The trails were groomed and the skiing was on packed powder and frozen granular. The packed powder was located on the upper slopes. Really for the lack of snow,... More
