We went to the Old Man and saw the new historic site and I have to say it was nicely done. You can find some information there about the Old Man and the park that they have there is a very nice tribute. I would recommend stopping there.

For biking, hiking, fishing, they are planning a memorial of the old man and that should be something to see, too bad they could not salvage him.
