Thoroughly enjoyed this tour and the rich history of the place is amazing! Definately worth the visit! The man who runs it really gives a great tour and some wonderful history. More

Everyone visiting Virginia City, NV must visit the Bar inside Piper's Opera House on "B" Street. The bar is open again after being closed for 100 years...it is darling and the hostess and host (Donna and Ash) are super nice. They will make you feel at home and really enjoy a few hours surrounded by the finest history the town... More

Piper's Opera House is one of the most fascinating places I have ever been. I too visited Piper's Opera House because of "Somewhere In Time." I saw an extra on the "Somewhere" dvd about the picture of Maude Adams that the author encountered at the opera house on a family vacation. We went there in July of 2006. I understand she made her debut at the famous 19th- Century opera house when she was five and her mother was part of Piper's Traveling Troupe. She later went on to become our first Peter Pan.
