This place is impressive and is the perfect way to learn how mining in Tonopah saved the state. There is an informative movie, museum and visitors can actually walk into a mine. Be ready for some walking, up on top, at 6000 ft plus elevation. More

I really appreciate the research that was done to accumulate this plethora of items from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Very interesting and I really like the outside cabins and items to look at. More

It is worth the short jaunt up the hill to visit this Park. The 20 minute video provides a good foundation for exploring the park on a self-guided tour. I highly recommend folks to allow themselves a few hours to visit this Park and tour around the old mining area. More

Don't miss this place if you are in the area, Nevada was founded around mining and the Tonopah Mining Park takes you back to the 19th century to see how this was all done. The exhibits are very well maintained and some of them look as though you could pull a lever and make them work. The site is well... More

My husband and I drove from Vegas to Tonopah and walked through the Mining Park. We really had a good time and would definately come back in the future. The town is really interesting to see as well. The only downside is that it is a long drive and not much to see on the way there. I would make... More

A large mostly outdoor museum preserving the historic silver mines in Tonopah. It definitely has an "old west" feel to it with the mining equipment and buildings in a state of arrested decay. There is also a good bookstore for local and mining related subjects. I very much enjoyed it. More
