I stayed here for business and the room was very nice, grounds were beautiful but the walk through casino smoky. I found a way to get to room and back without going through casino.

Our room was really big with a nice enough view, but the pool was really small and always crowded. The hotel service was pretty great.

This is a nice getaway from the typical hotel on the strip, with a lovely golf course and relaxing spa services. This location also has a casino inside too - nothing fantastic but takes care of your basic gambling needs! Rooms are spacious with a walk in closet and giant jacuzzi tub. If you don't have a car, be forwarned...

The Valley Course at the JW Marriott resort in Palm Desert
was a nice course to play if you are in the area. It was $100
on Nov. 7, 2006 and well worth the money. Pace was slow later in the day so opt for an early tee time if you have a choice.
