If you are in vegas, never miss the fremont street experience. There is a Deuce Bus in vegas which charge $8 for 24 hours. This pass is totally worth as it covers the strip from Mandalay Bay to Fremont Street. Freemonth street is best viewed at night with all the lighting and all. Though we could cover it in day...

Wow, tried to use Best Of Vegas to get show tickets for my son and I. Booked the shows in May for an August visit. When we got there in August, BOV had booked our seats for May!!!????? Really? Downtown vegas has a different feel to it than the strip. The casinos are more like you imagine from the movies, the beers are cheaper and the poker is great. Then there's the light show on Fremont street and other street entertainment. Love the strip too though.

I love Freemont street. There are lots of free show, lots of people, great place to walk, lots of great restaurants. Cheap food, fun place. I love to play poker at Binions. it is a very historical place.
