You can walk up as far as you'd like. We took subs for lunch and had a great picnic with the kids. They had fun playing in the waterfall. Take lots of towels as it's chilly when you get out of the water. Beautiful area. More

Took the trail down to the Lake and then back to the bottom of the falls. Beautiful views all the way down to the lake, easy trail. Great place to spend some time on the beach or pier. Eagle Falls can be seen and swam in via Eagle Falls Trail. It is located on the southwestern part of Lake Tahoe just off the highway. All the trails in Lake Tahoe are great. We chose this one because the elevation gain wasn't too great - I'm from a low elevation so hiking at high elevations is difficult for me. Beautiful scenery. Just what you would want on a moderate hike. More
