We were there in May which is after skiing and before summer crowds...so not all the services were up and running but the hiking was amazing and free!! Gorgeous views of the lake and forest. Not many of the parks were open this time of year, but we stopped by and took a peek since we've never been before. Its beautiful - but it was still cold outside!!

In my mind I thought Lake Tahoe would be commercialized with big resorts. Boy was I wrong! This is a place on this earth you have to see. Mark Twain once wrote.. you can count the speckles on each trout at 100feet deep. I think you can. The beauty and peace surrounding this corner of paradise will soothe your soul,... More

If you are entertaining an out-of-town visitor, bring them up here to the Lake. It will blow away their prejudices about Nevada.

Driving around the lake itself is already a great experience. Stopping at the beaches like Incline Village, Emerald Bay and South Lake Tahoe is also wonderful. Now if you take the ferry that goes across the lake, that is awesome and you can even take yourself a picture with a Mark Twain clone who is always sitting somewhere in this... More

Had a reservation, started on time. The GPS system in the cart gives great distances. Course was immaculate, staff attentive

Lake Tahoe has to be one of the most beautiful places on earth! The views of the lake are breathtaking! Hiking is marvelous. the air so clean and fresh, the water pristine. Alot to do, from outdoor activities to casino nightlife.

Very scenic. We stayed at the Best Western and were suprised to find that the rear of our room was overlooking the beach/lake area. not much to do here though we only stayed the night. We were very bored. The food options were very limited also.
