Sand harbor is a beautiful beach and is very popular for good reason. Perfect for kids. Bring a bucket, string and hotdogs or lunchmeat and they will spend hours catching crawdads by the rocks. This is one of my favorite places at Lake Tahoe. The beach is beautiful and well kept, the scenery is priceless. Beach does get crowded, so go early to get the best place. Remember to pick up all of your trash and leave Lake Tahoe even cleaner than you found it! More

Sand Harbor State Park is just south of Incline Village, and offers one of the few sandy beaches around Lake Tahoe. It's fun to walk around the rocky peninsula at the end, with beautiful views across the lake. Pay parking, and very crowded during the summer. More

Lots of picnic area and a huge beach. It gets crowded so get there early. If they say the parking lot is full, try some where else. Because the beach will be full also! More

You must stop at Sand Harbor and the little pull off right before it on your trip to lake tahoe.
