Small museum, chock full of history. Could spend 2 hours. Lady overseeing the place is too chummy. You can hear her talking to others while you are view and reading, and then she "latches on to you" to slow your progress. Inside this little museum is an eclectic collection of memorabilia of Beatty's past.The museum staff is eager to answer questions and talk about Beatty's history. The museum has an eclectic collection. All kinds of old things, such as butter churns, old-fashioned refrigerators, farm tools, plus lots of stuff related to the mines. This museum really houses a lot of artifacts about the entire area. The staff is friendly and efficient and you can really tell they care a lot about their town, area, and maintaining the historical abundance in this part of our country! Well worth the time to spend there and talk with them. More
