Stayed four days in four room cabin with three friends.Cabins were first class,large with great bathrooms,beds ,tv in each room(cable),and nice sitting area with refrigerator.The food was very good in the restaurant and bar.People were very nice and helpful.The golf courses were the best I've ever play.That includes Bandon Dunes and Whistling Straits.The greens were huge hard with great contours... The golf is a good idea well executed. The Pines and Dunes courses were long for me as I'm not a big sticker, but they're fun to play and in a beautiful setting. I had never been to the Sandhills region- and I thought I had seen "dunes" before... In the Sandhills region it looks like a links golf course for 200 miles everywhere you look. Played both the Dunes and the Pines course in May 2011. I wish the weather was as good as the Golf Courses. Both courses are amazing. If I had to choose a favourite it would be The Dunes. I played The Pines course on a cool day in September, 2010. The landscape of the Sandhills on which these courses were created is amazing. There are currently 2 18 hole championship courses, The Dunes and The Pines. Rolling hills of "The Dunes" Course create a landscape much like that of courses in Ireland or Scotland.
