“A cool oasis near the business district”

The park is a well maintained cool oasis within walking distance of the central business district. Mature trees provide good shade and the central part of the park is like being in another more relaxed time. Entrance is via a nice boulevard and the park is overlooked by the requisite World War II tank. The baseball field is undergoing renovation... More

From the shade of the large trees to the kid's play fort, this park is the best to unwind over lunch. More

No trip to Fairbury would be complete without a cruise through the Fairbury City Park, located just west of downtown on 5th street. Every year on July 4th, there is a huge flea market that draws hundreds of vendors and thousands of people.
