We visited in winter and enjoyed our visit but there were few animals awake to be seen. It was, however, the only opportunity I will get to be snarled at by a coyote while still being able to stand my ground. They do good work here and are worth considering.

The center is located just outside of town, near the high school. They have a large collection of orphaned, injured and/or abandoned animals. These critters are exhibited in enclosures that are only a few feet from the footpath. The animals included coyotes, cougars, fox, bobcats, bears, elk, wolves, buffalo, different varieties of birds, and more. The entrance fee is minimal....

Our family took a few hours to enjoy the Nature Center. It was great for the kids...not expensive and a great collection of animals and wildlife. Worth the time!

There's a minimal fee for entry but you won't be disappointed. Each animals habitat has a sign that described the story behind the animal. The...
