Nice small museum for the town. It only has three rooms for displays, and it does a nice job with them, but it doesn't leave a lot of space for a variety of works. More

An extraordinary exhibit of Ansel Adams work in a setting worthy of his work. Very convenient. A nice chance to wander more around Missoula. Always a coffee shop around the next corner! More

The museum brings in interesting, varied exhibits that never fail to disappoint. I admire that the museum takes an active role in the community, offering classes for kids, families and local events--and the Artini events are great fun. Supportive of local young artists in the schools as well. Take a stroll through it--which doesn't take long, for an enjoyable experience. More

Art Museum of Missoula has a large exhibit of Ansel Adams, through Jan 2012. From private collection, all prints are by Adams himself (he sometimes used assistants). I didn't get a chance to see the permanent collection, but this show is a must-see. More
