We go a couple times a year for performances and enjoy it each time. It is a beautiful hall and a Christmas it is decorated fantasticly. We make a night of it by going to dinner before hand at one of the many restaurants in Grand Center. After the Christmas show we go to one of the award winning ice... More

I went to listen to "All Mozart" with student's tickets. Fair prices, elegant decorations, and Mozart. Love it! It's definitely a place to go when travel in St. Louis. Good entertainment on Friday.

It is truly wrth your effort to buy tickes to this symphony if you are in St Louis during the season, Sept through May. In June it is also a terrific line up with special programs starting mid May, this year, for example, Pink Floyd tribute, a Swing concert, Beatles music, etc.The venue in Powell Hall makes you want to... We ventured for the first time to Powell Hall on a date night, to listen to the symphony. We were very impressed by the building and the orchestra was perfect! The sound in Powell Hall was beautiful.

The St Louis Symphony is an international treasure. Conductor David Robertson is, too. Whatever they play is worth a trip to hear.

The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra deserves greater national recognition as one of the best symphonies in the world. I've been to 9-10 performances of all kinds, and have been blown away by the quality of every performance. Besides the music, the building itself is a work of art. Stepping inside makes you feel like you've stepped back in time. Plush... More

The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra continues to reach new levels of performance. Last night they offered Beethoven's 4th Piano Concerto and Brahm's 2nd Symphony. Robertson's personality and talent on the podium commands attention as he holds the orchestra in the palm of his hand (the one without the baton). And Radu Lupu, the pianist from Romania is absolutely amazing. I... More

I have been there thrice and I have loved it everytime! The acoustics are great and the place is grand but not flashy unlike the fox..if I had more money I would go more often.
