It is so nice to see a community protect and promote their own history. The historical sites of Old Kingston Town are beautifully maintained and well signed. These signs provide a real depth of information that paint a vivid image of life 'way back then'.
Went for an hour, and stayed all day....and came back the following day as well....

An interesting little place, everything is obviously well taken care of and is very clean and tidy. Go up Flagstaff Hill and up to the Queen Elizabeth lookout for some great views over all the buildings and bays of Kingston.

Make sure you allow plenty of time to spend at Kingston and neighbouring Emily Bay. Also take a seat on Flagstaff Hill above the jetty to get a great vantage point of the area.

I found this little town really interesting, and intrigued me throughout our stay. I have to stay it was a lot more interesting to me than the incessant reminders of the Bounty, that 'the locals', as opposed to the 'residents', went on about all the time.
