Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The park shows signs of age, but the staff are very friendly, especially the gentleman who operates the bumper boats. He always goes out of his way to smile and thank everyone for coming. He seems to genuinely enjoy his job. We have played mini golf there in the past, but this summer my granddaughter has only wanted to ride the boats. She loves it. They do have other activities that we haven't done. They have a water balloon area and I believe a kiddie train ride. We always buy the fish food and feed the fish while we are there. We also have a snow cone or ice cream cone every time we go.

6:30 PM on a Thursday night, and we were the only there to eat supper.
Everything was clean, but it was odd there was no decorations on the walls and it was clear where there were some, and maybe a tv at one point.
Things just felt dated.
The view was great of the river though.
We made our selections from the single sided copy paper menu and ordered at the counter.
We ordered the horse shoe and pony shoe...their specialty plates. Toast, hamburger, fries, covered in cheese.
When our number was called we grabbed our styrofoam containers and sat down to eat.
It was delicious!
The burger was cooked just right.
We all agreed the food was good, but the experience detracted. It just seemed tired and dated.
Enjoyed the view and food, but the rest is just enough to bring us back without some changes.

We went to Sawyer's Creek Fun Park after we saw it from the highway. It looked nice and interesting but when we arrived there we could see why there probably was not many people there. The entire park needs a make over. Things are old and worn down. This place is really for kids. There is a Wine Shop for adults, but most of the Fun items are for a younger crowd. Everything is also fairly expensive.

This place has a few things for everyone but not great things. We checked out the cafe but did not eat. Not great choices although the views were great! The wine shoppe was ok, they didn’t have wines of their own but the lady working did a good job explaining all the wines they had. The wines we tasted were good but pricey for the shop. We went in the sweet shoppe, gift shop. Not impressed. This was actually the most disappointing part of our weekend in Hannibal.

We spent the afternoon here, did some putt putt golfing (18 holes), wine tasting and had lunch. Their wine shop is nice they have a good selection of wines from local makers. Pretty quiet place we went around 330 on a Friday and we were the only people there.

Ate at restaurant on site. Mostly sandwiches offered. Pulled pork and Sloppy Joe was fairly large portion and tasty. Sitting inside and outside on deck. Deck seating had overhead fans. NO TIPPING ALLOWED! That was pleasant and didn't affect the service.
Went riding on the bumper boat on the small pond. Kids and adult kids had fun time. Boats have "squirters" so you can ambush your friends/family. There are fish in the pond which you can feed. There is also a mini-golf course next to the pond. Prices are fair.
Nice fudge/candy shoppe where you buy your ticket for the boats.

After we toured both Mark Twain Cave and Cameron Cave (both of which are right across the highway, and lunching at the HyVee Sandwich place, the kids played mini golf and bumper boats. There's a lot of drink choices, fresh popcorn, ice cream and soda here as well as gifts (both silly gifts and nice gifts). Not sure of the entire list of things you can do here, but I know there's a train to ride, a small arcade, shopping, bumper boats and mini golf. The kids loved the mini golf but the boats were their favorites. I was "meh" on the boats. They spray each other, which is fun, but there are about a hundred fish in the murky water so it was kind of gross. The fish must be a part of the "attraction" because they sell a small bag of fish food ($1) and the fish open their mouths out of the water waiting for you to drop some food. Honestly, they're just gross. I doubt that the fish are a native species, so tossing them in the nearby river is out of the question, but I'd love to see them gone and the water a nice, clear blue next time we go. But by all means to explore Sawyer's Creek. The mini golf and bumper boats were awesome!

We had great food and great service at Sawyer's Creek Cafe. I love the fries there. We didn't have time to finish the whole mini golf course because of our tight schedule. We enjoyed the holes we were able to play. They were kid friendly when we were there.

Okay, my hubby and I are competitive. I love mini golf and he enjoys trying to beat me. Anyway, Sawyer's Creek mini golf has a fun course with a couple of pretty interesting holes. I was also pleased when my hubby wanted to try the bumper boats. I cannot steer them very well, but had fun getting a little wet and dishing some water back at him as well.

Husband and I went to play mini golf. It was an interesting and challenging course. There was no waiting and we enjoyed ourselves. There were other things to do, but this was it for us.
