I can remember going to the boyhood home when our school had a field trip. And it was free. Now there is a minimal charge and you have a bigger experience. At least 3 buildings of interest. to go thru. You are reliving the days of Mark Twain. Go for it at least once in your lifetime More

The self guided tour of sites of Mark Twain's storied brings them to life. Hannibal is an adorable town, at the river's edge. Take the time to stroll. More

The Museum is so full of history. It took me back to when I was young. I had to go home & re-read all of the Tom Sawyer stories. I loved going thru it all. It is definitely a must see when in Hannibal! (right before you go to the caves!) More

Your ticket to the Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum includes admission to several buildings, including a museum and several properties. The Boyhood Home has some interesting exhibits about Twain's childhood, and the other houses are neat to look at. The star of the show is the museum, which has amazing, life-size exhibits that bring many of Twain's books to... More

We found the price to be a bit expensive for what you were given. It was okay and may e worth seeing once but not something we would put on our list to do again. Becky Thatchers house wasn't open and Hucks home had nothing of interest in it. The website an hour to an hour and a half but... More

We really enjoyed this historical site. The museum was full of interesting information and the home looked as it did in Mark Twain's day. It was a trip back in time and inspired us to read some of his stories and his autobiography. More

Isn't it amazing to see history like this so close to home? It really puts you in the frame of mind of Tom Sawyer or Huck Finn when you visit... make sure you re-read these classics before you go. More

We went on a cloudy sunday morning, and the town was basically vacant. No one was around, it was like walking in a dead town. Shops were closed, half of them permanently, and some roads were under construction. However, the boyhood home was open. We went through that, and then peeked in Mark Twain's father's law office, and then to... More

I liked the museum a lot more than the boyhood home town. The cabin indoors in the museum was very interesting. The museum overlooks the lake. More

I was a little disappointed, but maybe that was because we got there late in the day. There wasn't as much activity as I had hoped for. More
