Visitors can fish or swim in the park’s six-acre lake or hike one of four scenic trails with benches along the way for relaxing. Picnic sites that are shaded by trees are scattered throughout and the family-oriented campground includes modern restrooms, hot showers and hot water.

I went tent camping and hiking with my husband and 3.5 year old son. This is our second camping trip as a family and we camped for 2 nights. Campsites are different but they all have gravel area with picnic table and fire ring and a wood chip area for tent camping. Vault toilets and water spigots are spaced throughout...
